Aviation Museums

Thanks to this European group, you can now find aviation museums all over the world at http://www.aviationmuseum.eu/

Whether it be North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, or Asia, the Aviation Museum web portal is working to make it possible for you to find an aviation museum no matter where you are.

They offer a wide variety of links to museums all over the world. However, they are still working on producing a larger database so their content is not quite complete, yet.

I found that many of these museums portray the thing that their country is most proud of, and sadly the Canadian Air and Space Museum now needs to re-locate. Without a location if it closes, public access to the history of Canada’s Avro Arrow may drop significantly. That’s why we think Buttonville is a great new location for them.

There are lots of ideas about how to create an exciting aviation museum to be found on the European portal mentioned above.
